Dear Parents,
Please find below some important information about the upcoming First Holy Communion. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask your child’s class teacher.
Times: The First Holy Communion will take place Saturday May 28th at 11.00am. We ask that all of the children are in the Church for 10.50am as they will be participating in a procession into the Church. We need to organise the children in the side room of the Church prior to the commencement of the ceremony. As the children all have set places it is very important that they are on time.
Guests: Each child has been allocated four seats only. (The child plus 4 guests) As we are very tight for space there will be no additional seating or standing room available.
Photographs on the day: Due to a directive from the diocese there is to be strictly no photography during the ceremony. This is to follow best practice guidelines in Child Protection.
Tea and Coffee in the Hall: You are invited to a tea and coffee reception in the hall after the ceremony. We look forward to seeing you there.
Scrapbooks: In preparation for the Communion the children have been working on a scrapbook and these will be displayed in the hall on the day. Please join us and have a look at the fabulous work they have been doing.
Official photographs: A photographer will be in school on Monday the 30th. The children will come in to school as normal at 9.20 in their Communion clothes and they should be collected at 12.00.
We look forward to seeing you all the 28th.
