Drama is a subject that is integrated throughout the school year in various curricular areas. Our state of the art stage in our brand new school hall will give further scope for the children to engage in drama activities. They will be enabled to perform for their peers, teachers and parents. The children engage in drama activities during Irish, English, History and S.P.H.E. lessons.

Throughout their time in Holy Rosary the children will participate in various formal and informal drama experiences from class role-plays to Nativity plays to 6th year graduation videos to School Choir performances. The benefits of drama are vast; the children grow in self-confidence, their oral skills language improve, they develop their sense of empathy, they foster co-operation, communication and team building skills, and they also are enabled to learn in an engaging, fun and imaginative way.
