Grandparents / Great Grandparents Day At Holy Rosary Primary School

Dear Grandparents / Great Grandparents,

You are cordially invited to visit our school to celebrate Grandparents Day on Monday, February 1st 2016.

We acknowledge that Grandparents and Great Grandparents can play a special role in the lives of our students.

As it happens, this day coincides with Saint Brigids Day which also marks the beginning of Catholic Schools Week. We therefore welcome you to attend our school mass at 10am in the school church followed by a cuppa and a chat in the school hall.

If you wish, you may then visit your grandchild(rens) class(es) to say ‘hello’ and maybe hear a song or poem or just enjoy observing the children at work. You may even be asked about your own schooldays! (Don’t worry, it’s all very informal and pleasant).

You may also like to take a tour of our new school and check-out new and old photos and art-work on display around the walls.

If you just want to join us for refreshments, please meet in the school reception at llam. Remember that no one is excluded and we welcome grandparents of all different faiths.

We look forward to meeting with you,

Dolores Kelly,
Principal
Kathleen McKiernan,
Home / School Liaison
Mary Roberts,
Teacher Rep.
