The boys and girls from 4th, 5th and 6th class extended a warm welcome to Ms Naoko Takatsuka when she came to visit our school last week. Ms Takatsuka is the Japanese Language Advisor to the PPLI (Primary/Post Primary Languages Ireland). She was delighted to see and hear all the progress the children are making with their Japanese teacher, Sinead. A 10 week module of Japanese is being taught in Holy Rosary this year as part of the Say Yes To Languages initiative.
