Last Tuesday 5th & 6th class went on a History trip to Glasnevin cemetery. We worked hard in school the previous week learning about the 1916 rising and researching the lives of various people that are buried in the cemetery such as Daniel O’Connell and Sinead DeValera. We then wrote speeches about their lives and presented them at each of their graves. Despite the wet and windy day we had great fun and learned a lot.
